Inspiration Blog 1
I was watching the 5:00 news today, what I saw amazed me. A 100 year old man completed a Marathon in 8 hours. I thought for a moment, and thought of all the teenagers and adults that walked the Aids Walk in Philadelphia on Sunday. They came back to school complaining of how much they were in pain. These are teenagers in all shapes and sizes mind you. I didn't do the Aids walk this year, but this man made me feel bad that I didn't. Here I am 16 years old, for the most part relatively healthy, and didn't even walk the 8 miles. He inspired me, his courage and dedication at 100 years of age, made me walk home today instead of normally taking the bus the last 4 blocks. I think I will walk the rest of the year, well until it's cold that is. Lol :)
